A new father decided to surprise his girlfriend moments after their newborn daughter was born via c-section.
27-year-old Jordan Gaskell decided to surprise his 25-year-old girlfriend, Shauna Horrobin by proposing her moments after their newborn daughter was born.
The new father dressed his newborn daughter in a ‘will you marry me’ vest and proposed to his girlfriend.

After Shauna gave birth to her two older children from her previous relationship, she suffered some serious injuries.
So, when she went into labor to give birth to their newborn daughter, Lottie, Jordan decided to propose his girlfriend.
The heart-melting video shows Jordan dropping to one knee with a white gold diamond engagement ring while midwives passing Shauna their baby who was dressed in a vest that read: ‘Mummy, will you marry my daddy?’
Shauna accepted the proposal.
The couple lives in Wigan in Lancashire and had been friends for more than 12 years.
They started dating a year ago and Lottie is their first child while they also have children from their previous relationships.
Jordan said he decided to surprise Shauna by proposing her a few months ago. Lottie is their first child together and he said that they are very happy.
Jordan said: “I planned it a few months ago. Shauna’s other pregnancies have been life-threatening so we are very lucky. Lottie is doing brilliantly, we are so happy.”
The midwives, who never had seen such a moment, were also super excited. Registered midwife Mary Thomas said: “The whole midwifery team was really excited. It was a lovely experience, only to be topped off by the birth of a beautiful baby girl.”
The video was shared online and it instantly went viral. The video received thousands of likes and comments. People praised the father for surprising his girlfriend by proposing her.
