27-year-old Cameron Jeffrey Wilson accidentally shot himself in the testicle while smuggling drugs in his rectum.
He was carrying a gun in the front pocket of his pants when the weapon accidentally went off, piercing his testicle, groin, and thigh, according to Wenatchee World News. The incident occurred in his flat in Cashmere, Washington.
Wilson, who has 13 convictions, reportedly told his girlfriend to hide the weapon at their friend’s house before they went to Wenatchee city hospital to treat his injuries.
While a doctor was operating on his wounds, a balloon of marijuana slipped out of his rectum, according to court reports.
Wilson’s day got even worse when police officers arrived at the hospital and discovered a bag of meth in his blood-stained pants.
A warrant for his arrest was issued and he eventually handed himself to police two weeks later. During the process at the Chelan County Regional Justice Centre, officers discovered another balloon of marijuana!
The balloon slipped out of his rectum while they were searching him, proving that he just doesn’t want to give up.
During his stay in prison, Wilson called his girlfriend numerous times and asked her not to cooperate with police in their investigation. What he didn’t know was that officers were listening in on all their conversations.
Wilson was charged with possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of meth, possession of a firearm, and four counts of tampering with a witness. He is due to appear in court on June 18 and is currently being held with a bail set at $110,000.
