How do you like to get lost in a maze? I know no one would like to get lost, not especially in a maze, and if the maze is as huge as a corn farm, people don’t really think they will be able to make it out and thus they do not dare to step in.
29 years old Ryan Kenneth Watt was accused of stalking his former girlfriend. Even after getting a restraining order, he did not stop as his ex complained that he keeps calling her, texting her and stalking her and he also has a GPS device planted in her car.
After he violated the restraining order, the police had no option but to go look for him to arrest him.
Police went to look for him as he was staying in a homeless camp on the 28th of September, Saturday but before the police could get him, he ran off.
Running through the freeway on the highway, the 29 years old man ran into the Petaluma Pumpkin Patch Amazing Corn Maze, which is believed to be the largest maze in North California of corn.
Police officer Lt. Ed Crosby said “He ran away from the officers into the maze directly through the highway. I have no clue how did he survive without getting hurt.”
Watt ran into the maze and to find him, the police department had to call for help. They made a few teams of officers who were all around the maze and a couple of teams that had to go inside the maze to look for him.
They also called for a helicopter for help. They kept looking for hours and the officers started losing hope as they saw the fuel getting low.
As a team of three officers was leaving the maze they saw a chicken coop. They went near it and as they opened the door, they found their man.
