Humans’ cruelty towards animals has no extent.
There have been many instances where humans have harmed birds and animals in horrifying events.
Recently, a man in China has been charged for stealing black swan from a park and making its soup. The entire incident has been captured in the surveillance camera where the man was seen snatching the waterbird from the pond.
The Chinese resident said in his defence that he attacked the bird after he pecked when he was teasing it with a club. After watching the footage, police caught the man red-handed in his home when they spotted a half-eaten swan soup in his kitchen.
The man known with surname Wu has been detained by the local police after the incident. The Cui Lake Park in Jinhua city was home to four black swans that are a rare species. The incident took place on April 29 when the park keeper called the police saying one of the swans had been missing.
After reaching the park, the police went through the surveillance camera to spot the culprit. The man was spotted leaving the park with a wooden stick and red bag. Police directly went to his rented flat to catch him.
After spotting the swan soup in the kitchen, the man was interrogated. When confronted by the police, the man finally confessed that he was with his wife and children in the park. He got upset when the swan pecked him.
Over agitation, he knocked the swan with his club and took it to his home to turn it into a soup. He also commented that the black swan meat wasn’t tasty though its soup was nice.
The police have detained the man, and he will be given stringent punishment for violating animal rights.
