Man Stunned When He Discovered The ‘Real’ Meaning Of Sad Emoji And It Is NOT Puppy Eyes


A shocked man took to TikTok when he found out the real meaning of the ‘puppy eyes’ emoji.

Louis Levanti was scrolling through Twitter when he saw a post by Zach Silberberg which gained more than 200K likes.

“Finding out that the keyboard shortcut for (the sad emoji) is ‘please sir’ ruined my day,” the tweet read.

In the viral TikTok video, Levanti complained: “I did not need to wake up to this tweet saying that is what you type to get the emoji!!

“It f***ing can’t be. Who the f*** at Apple is responsible for this?”

Since being posted, the clip has been viewed more than five million times and gained over 60,000 comments from shocked viewers.

“Pretty sure it’s a reference to Oliver Twist when he holds up his bowl and asks for more food, ‘please sir may I have some more’… FOOD,” one person said, to which Levanti replied: “I don’t think emoji was being that clever, probably just a coincidence.”

Another commented: “Someone at Apple is about to get CANCELLED.”

A third added: “…….. I thought it was puppy eyes.”

Someone else said: “We have finally reached the generation that has never heard of Oliver Twist.”
