A man from Buenos Aires, Brazil, has gone viral after spending over $30,000 on plastic surgeries in an attempt to look exactly like his idol, Michael Jackson.
In order to look like his idol, the King of Pop, 22-year-old Leo Blanco has gone through at least 11 plastic surgeries among countless cosmetic procedures.
“Once you start with the surgeries, there’s no limit,” Blanco shared in an interview with Barcroft TV.
“It’s impossible to have just one or two surgeries done, you want more and more. I spent around 30 000 dollars. It was not what I imagined but to reach my dream, it’s worth it.”
Besides his bodily transformation, the 22-year-old also learned how to act like the pop star and mastered his iconic dance moves.
“I’ve never had many friends at school,” the man, who now has over 80k Instagram followers, added.
“I thought that there is something wrong with me and that I had to form my body, so I went to the gym and I bleached my hair blond.
“Despite being muscular and blond, I have never managed to connect with pupils of my age. I can say that today I’m surrounded by people who I love and not with people that the high school imposes on me.”
Speaking of his future, Blanco expressed his desire to undergo additional surgeries to look even more like his idol.
“I think there are three surgeries missing on my nose, and for sure the chin. I’d like to have my eyebrows a bit more lifted up, this could be done by getting injections,” he admitted.
“I’d like to get a face lifting, although all the surgeons refuse to do it because they say I’m not old enough.
“It’s a constant fight between what my parents want, what I want and what the surgeons are willing to do.”
Adriana Caruso, the 22-year-old’s mother, has also spoken out and revealed she’s worried about Leo’s obsession with Michael Jackson.
“I approve of him being a fan of Michael Jackson and impersonating him, but the plastic surgeries?” she told Barcroft TV.
“I am worried because he talks about surgeries so relaxed as if he was going to a hairdresser, but I fear a lot that he is going to die in one of the surgeries.”
