All of us might have heard about the aftermath of driving while drunk.
Most of the people try these kinds of stunts and then they get to know about the circumstances when they have lost much. In 2015 an Arkansas man named, Justin Craven was driving in a rush when he met with an accident. Upon that he was drunk and that crash brought him close to death.
However, that crash gave him a lesson and he developed a close bond with Christ. He was a national guard and now he aims to contribute his story with youth so that they get a lesson.
When he was in high school, he used to drink and was a drug addict and one who would always be ready for the party. He lived with attributes of a youngster when he was only sixteen and this was because of the influence of his stepfather who was an alcoholic and his remorse mother.
Craven tells that he was a party-oriented person and he had never missed a trip. Everyone liked to have Craven on their party due to which he was an apple of every eye. Craven lived this way till he reached in the mid of twenties.
The day, on which Craven met this horrible accident, he had been awake for three days because of his work to watch over a flight. He had to take cocaine and drugs in order to raise his achievement.
To take some rest he went to his room but upon the demand of his roommates, he enjoyed the party till 2 A.M instead of going to sleep. However, after that, he managed to get the keys of his friend’s grandfather to reach Memphis from Nashville which a drive of almost three hours.
Craven went out of his senses, according to his assumption he might have slept but he remembers that his car hit a heavy vehicle. The timing of his accident was noted through the bank’s statements as he stopped at a gas station, he probably hit an 18-wheeler. He was regarded as dead when he was located in his car and the car was completely smashed.
He was taken to a nearby hospital and then shifted to a Regional hospital at Memphis. Craven had a number of treatments and he survived because of the encouragement of his family, friends and cooperative nurses.
He had a weak bond with god but this crash made him closer to Christ and now he lives a moderate and healthy life.
Now he reveals his story to kids and teenagers so that they do not get spoiled and he is a role model for them. He believes that God had an amazing plan to teach him a lesson.
