A 23-year-old man was filmed urinating on a memorial dedicated to a 9-year-old boy who died of brain cancer.
The video of Bryan Bellace has sparked fury online as he was seen peeing on a playground memorial for Christian Clopp who passed away because of cancer in Underhill Park in Philadelphia.
It was his friend Daniel Flippen who recorded the incident and shared it on Snapchat.
The video immediately went viral and caused fury online. The two men have been charged after officers received reports of the incident.
The boy’s father, Mark Clopp, told CBS Phlly: “I don’t understand this world today.
“A friend of ours came over today to inform us that a video was posted of two scumbags urinating on Christian’s memorial at his playground.”
Two Good Samaritans, Desmond Walker and Paul Burgan, volunteered to clean up the memorial. “A disgusting act,” Paul said.
“As a single parent, you think, “What if that was my child?”” Desmond added.
They also wrote on social media: “When Coach Desmond first heard about this story and contacted me we were both so disgusted by what we read and heard we felt we needed to go down to this memorial clean it up and disinfect it.
“We did not make this post for publicity but we made this post to let people know that this is our community and we don’t condone to this type of sickening act.
“To the Clopp family we support you, we are here for you, and if we can prevent it we will never let something like this happen again on our watch.”
