A video has surfaced on the internet, where a man can be seen licking his hand prior to touching the door handle of the car and walking away.
In the video, the man is putting his hands in his mouth and approaching different vehicles and pulling at the door handles.
The man who recorded the video narrated that he is showing this video to bring this absurd act to the attention of people. There are people walking in the middle of the night through the driveway and touching the door handles of the cars.
The video shows that the guy first when to the nearby driveway, then came to his driveway and touched his mouth before touching the car door handles.
It is not clear when or where the video was recorded. However, it soon became viral among the social media users in order to warn the drivers to disinfect their door handles prior to entering their vehicles.
Steve Smith, a Twitter user, posted this video and requested people to clean their door handles of the car in order to mitigate the risk of coronavirus.
Another Tweeter user shared the video with a messaging that read that people should disinfect their car handles before entering in.
However, some Twitter users believed that the man’s motive was not to spread the virus.
Initially, the man was touching the door handle of a car in the neighbouring driveway. Glenn Carter, a Twitter user, tweeted in response that it just appeared that the man was checking whether or not the car was locked.
They are not licking their mouth to spread the virus, and it was a coincidence that he touched the mouth. For his act to be relevant, he would have to know that he has been infected with the virus. He is just checking if the car is locked, which is very common.
