In the time of quarantine, these sports mascots are keeping it sociable while maintaining social distance.
On Friday, Adam Amin had hosted a Zoom call where he connected with over a dozen dogs who are mascots of various schools.
He asked the dogs how they feel with the closing down of the schools and postponement of the sports events in all the schools amid the pandemic. He also asked them questions on quarantining.
Adam started the call with greeting all the dogs as he said it is great to see them all. The dogs who were oblivious to the human language were busy with their acts of stretching, yawning, and looking away for obvious reasons.
Adam continued asking more questions to the mascots. Most of these questions were about self-isolation, postponing the games, and staying away from school grounds.
In the end, he had no option but to bid goodbye as most of the members on the call had already slipped away from the frame. He said that they all had given a great combination and it was just what they were looking for.
Adam said that he wanted to have a meeting with the dogs to discuss the challenges and their cope-up technique with the current situation.
He also wanted to ask them about how quarantine is treating them.
Among the dogs present on the call were mascots of schools including Butler University, the University of Connecticut, Drake University, and the University of Washington.
This is not the first call they had been on ever since the lockdown. Earlier this month, the dogs had yet another call.
The motive of the call was for the dogs to see their friends and for humans to understand that animals also need their friends around and quarantine is hard for them as well.
