It looks like students of the University of Texas just got too lucky to have a new professor, Matthew McConaughey.
Matthew McConaughey is needless to say a legendary actor who has won Academy Award and millions of hearts in his career as an actor.
The immensely talented actor already has his name in the A list along with being the pitchman of Lincoln Motor Company and also a co-owner of Major League soccer club, that he recently announced.
If you think he has done more than enough in his one lifetime, well this is not what he thinks. The man who has multiple things on his resume already just added one more point.
The man has now added another tab of being a professor on his resume as he is going to be a professor of “Script to Screen” at the University of Texas.
The actor who was born and raised in Lone Star State is going back to where he started from.
The University of Texas is the place where Matthew McConaughey earned his degree in acting back in the year 1993.
The university has now announced that they have hired the actor and the alumni of the university to teach Script to Screen at Moody College’s Department of Radio, Television, and Film.
The university wrote “Mr. McConaughey is an alumni and deeply cares for the school as well as its students.
This is our pride moment that he is coming back to grant his supreme knowledge and to prepare the future of the media under his supervision.
This is not the first time he is going back as McConaughey has been going to the University for Guest Lectures on various occasions.
He was even accompanied by his production mates writer-director Gary Ross, director Yann Demange and producer Diana Alvarez once which was definitely a treat for the students.
