Maya Jama Hit Back At Trolls Who Fat-shamed Her


Radio 1 presenter Maya Jama was fat-shamed online after she shared her pictures on Instagram.

Stormzy’s ex Maya Jama hit back at trolls by sharing their nasty comments and messages on Instagram.

The rude and mean comment read: “Apparently it’s bullying letting someone know they’re getting fat. So I’m gunna be real and keep it 100 but Instagram only chooses who it wasn’t to protect.”

“Like valuable assets. Should be ashamed and yeah you’re getting fat as f***. Without her looks she wouldn’t be where she was or who she is. So hell yeah you’re getting fat. Listen, workout and stop crying bout it.[sic]”

The 25-year-old hit back at her trolls saying she is trying to gain weight for years and this is her goal.

She went on to say that someone keeps making different Instagram accounts just to troll and fat-shame her.

She told thanks to her haters and trolls for all the ‘cute messages’ that she has been receiving for years.

She said: “Fortunately, I can laugh at stuff like that now after getting used to it over the years, but imagine I wasn’t as secure and read a comment like that.”

She urged people to be kind to each other and think before trolling or fat-shaming anyone. She said people are wild online and she feels sympathetic to the trolls.

Maya said she feels sorry and doesn’t get angry any more because she has been dealing with it for years.

A few days back, a model was trolled after she claimed she has a badge that can kill viruses within several meters.

Ekaterina Koba, a model from Belarus was trolled after she showed a badge in an Instagram video and told her fans that it’s a “virus blocker” and it can kill viruses within several meters.

The 31-year-old said in the video: “Everyone is asking me what kind of badge I have hanging around my neck.”

Later, she deleted the video and urged people to stop being negative.
