We all have been curious to know about McDonald’s ‘secret menu’ like McDonald’s secret menu has long been rumored in the UK and while the brand has previously claimed it doesn’t exist, turns out you can order from it – if you know what to ask for.
A McDonald’s store manager started a Reddit Ask Me Anything thread, which went into detail about the different creations you can make from mixing up the menu.
Answering questions on Reddit, he writes: “You can order from the ‘Secret Menu’. Just like with any of our sandwiches, you can add, remove or change ingredients by special request. These are called ‘grill orders’ (i.e. Big Mac no pickle).
“The items on the ‘secret menu’ weren’t invented by anyone officially at McDonald’s, it’s just a random person guide to burgers you could potentially ‘hack’ at McDonald’s.
“Order one and the workers might not know it by name (i.e. Land, Air and Sea burger or the McGangBang) but if you explain what it is, and are willing to pay for all the ingredients, it’s just another ‘grill order’ that we can make up.”
It is very important to remember that a lot of the ‘secret menu’ items involve either customizing current ones, adding more than one together or purchasing extras.
And customers who decided to get adventurous have shared their creations – including a Land, Air and Sea burger which is a Big Mac, Fillet O’Fish and McChicken burger all in one.
And it’s not just the burgers – those with a sweet tooth have hacked their way to a ‘Neapolitan shake,’ which is a mix of strawberry, chocolate and banana milkshakes.
If you really love McDonald’s desserts and can’t decide if you want hot or cold, you can mix two of them and blend an Apple Pie into your McFluffy.
You’ll need to order them both separately and then kindly ask the staff if they can be blended together.
The Land, Sea and Air burger is one of the best burgers which is not on the menu.
To get this burger, you need to order a Big Mac (the land), a Filet-O-Fish (the sea) and a McChicken (the air).
Next, put the fish and chicken patties into the big macs, using extra buns at your heart’s desire.
If the Land, Sea and Air Burger is too much for your constitution, then go for the Surf ‘N’ Turf, which is basically the same burger with a beef patty and fish fillet, but no chicken.
