Hundreds of people queued up to taste McDonald’s new spicy chicken nuggets – which haven’t yet been officially launched.
A McDonald’s outlet in Manchester offered an exclusive taster allowing people to relish the flavor of their upcoming fast food item.
Though the exclusive taster, held at 3 pm at McDonald’s franchise in Cross Lane, Salford, was announced just two hours before the scheduled time, it didn’t contribute much in dampening the number of McDonald’s lovers showing up to the restaurant.
In no time, the area was chocked-full by the foodies who wanted to experience the new savor.
Though many were willing to brave the long queue, just 600 were fortunate enough to have the sample nuggets, as the taster event lasted for just one hour.
The public response was ravishing but not unexpected as almost everyone was eager to taste the new nuggets from the moment the food chain announced them.
“I’m counting down the days to try these,” a McDonald’s lover wrote on social media.
“Are they gonna be in every Mcdonalds?” asked a curious user.
“Spicy chicken nuggets! We need to go and get 300 of them,” one person wrote.
The nuggets have already been introduced in a temporary launch in the US and Asia. But in the UK, McNuggets are available for just seven weeks.
However, they are a permanent part of the menu in all McDonald’s branches in Australia.
Even though the recipe will be the same in all the branches across the globe, there’ll be a slight change in the British version.
The British McNuggets will have an additional Tabasco-based spicy dip for the people who want to devour more and more spice.
McNuggets will cost around $3.57 for 6 nuggets, $3.91 for 9, and $5.59 for 20. What more can you wish for!
