In a life filled with chaos and disasters, there are still many people who make time to brighten others’ days.
One such person is Cody Bondarchuk from Alberta, Canada.
Bondarchuk used to work in McDonald’s and his confession quickly went viral on Twitter. He didn’t even expect that his post would receive overwhelming responses from netizens.
He tweeted: “I worked at McDonald’s for two-and-a-half-years and I put 11 nuggets in almost every 10-piece I made.”
The former employee of McDonald’s added: “The location was mostly drive-thru so not that I can remember, but I’d like to imagine they went home, saw the extra nug, and smiled a little.”
Twitter users praised Bondarchuk for his revelation, and they even started calling him the ‘Robin Hood of McNuggets.’
His post gained over 900K likes and 80K retweets! One internet user commented: “You are an everyday hero. It’s these little things that can give people a lift.”
Another wrote: “There is literally nothing better than an extra McNugget.”
A third said: “Not all heroes wear capes, just name tags.”
While many people praised Bondarchuk and hailed him a hero, others were not happy with his actions, with one commenting: “A hero????… nope.. it’s called theft… you are taking things that dont belong to you and depriving the owner of it, and you’ve been doing it for years?? …IM NOT EMPLOYING YOU!”
Another said: “Hero or the man responsible for the obesity epidemic?”
A third warned: “Be very careful now that you’ve publicly admitted this. Someone is now going to hire a shyster lawyer & sue you for causing their obesity, diabetes, high cholesterol or some other medical condition. Amerika is one of the most litigious countries in the world.”
Someone else added: “So now we lionize thieves. Great, just great.”
