Sheriff’s deputy captured on camera saving American flag that was touching the ground:

Integrity is often referred to doing the right thing even when no one is noticing and Sheriff’s Deputy has literally proven it. Individuals across the nation were deeply touched and inspired when they saw the clip of the officer saving the flag from falling on the ground or touching it that was captured in the camera.
On March 15after a heavy storm, Mr. Brandon McElroy was driving by the petrol pump where the flag pole was situated. Due to the broken surface of the ground, the flag was about to touch the ground and in fact, have almost partially touched it.
Naturally, a man who has been a part of the Air Force Reserve for 7 1/2 years found the occurrence highly disturbing and ran to do what was needed from his end.
He then parked his car and walked down to the yard all the way. Little did he know that all of it was being recorded by a camera set up by the homeowner. He lifted the American flag and placed it carefully on the home owner’s doorstep.
He also took the effort to fold the flag before he placed it on the doorstep. The homeowner had returned home and was highly impressed to see the video. It would be less to just describe his feeling as impressed.
He really got emotionally by the noble act of the sheriff who had shown the effort to perform something beyond his duty.
He had then decided to forward the video to the workplace of the sheriff just to identify him and find a way to appreciate him for his honorable act. McElroy stated that the act came from his reflex and he did not think a moment about it.
Sheriff thought that it was not a major step but it was a step towards the right direction. It was just a gesture of admiration and respect towards the nation he had served for so long.
Officer states that it does not take a giant move or immense bravery for one to show respect towards the country but just making little things right can show the same and anyone can do that.
McElroy strongly believes that loyalty and integrity lie in sticking to choosing the right path when nobody knows about it. His respect is not only towards the flag but the people who have died for the country and now he is a figure of inspiration for entire America.
