There is no doubt that the media manipulates the truth according to whatever people want to see.
In the past, they were quite successful in hiding the truth but due to the current boom of social media, it gets tougher and tougher for them to reshape the story. That’s why for the last few years, media has been having a really hard time gaining people’s trust.
According to one of the survey, 33% of the Americans have positive views of the mass media while 43% said that they are fed-up from what media shows and hardly believe on the mass-media news.
But the main reason for manipulating the truth comes due to ‘biases’. We all know that ideally media should be unbiased and should not have any political association but in the real world that’s not the case. Let’s take the examples of FOX News vs CNN News.
The same report would be having totally different perspectives on these channels. FOX News is considered to be Pro Trump while CNN is kept on target by Trump for being anti-government. And that is a fact. Most of these news outlets have their own political agenda and political affiliation.
Thus such biases have made us confused, mistrustful and divided.
In a recent campaign on social media, people are posting pictures to show how media manipulates the truth and trick us into seeing exactly what they want us to see. These pictures will prove that skepticism goes a long way and one must read the news from a wide range of sources before believing in a story.
Check out some of the photos that will definitely leave you open-mouthed.
