Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will likely not be approached for peace talks by the Royal Family, experts suggested.
Though months have passed since the California couple shocked the world with their allegations against the British Monarchy and the Royal Family, the rift between Harry and his family doesn’t appear to be getting any smaller.
As royal expert Russell Myers claimed during his appearance on talkRADIO, the royals are “very united in trying to get back to business” following the drama caused by Meghan and Harry.
“We have hardly seen them. They have popped up on Zoom calls here and there,” he said. “But no one has done the real business of monarchy, which is getting out, being among the people and shining a light on different charities, and traveling the world and the Commonwealth.”
As the expert on the matter of royal life added, Meghan and Harry will now likely be left “on their own” while the royals return to serving their nation.
“It’s part of getting Britain back on its feet. As far as Harry and Meghan are concerned, I think they will be left to try and sort things out on their own,” Myers says.
The comments followed shortly after host Kevin O’Sullivan suggested that “most people think Harry does not deserve to be forgiven” after accusing his family of all sorts of things in the Oprah interview.
Speaking directly of the young prince, the royal expert added that Harry was “sheepish” during his recent trip to the UK before running back to America “with his tail between his legs.”
“It was the first time he has spoken to many of them since that Oprah Winfrey interview where he accused them of all manner of things,” he added.
“He went back to America with his tail between his legs and who knows what will happen in the future.”
