A source has told Us Weekly that Meghan Markle ‘feels free’ and ‘has never been happier’ after stepping back as senior royals.
The source told that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are enjoying their life after quitting and fleeing the UK.
The source said: “Meghan feels free. She has never been happier.
She’s happy to be out of London. She was surprised at how quickly everything happened.”
“They knew they’d have to relinquish their titles, but the pace it happened surprised everyone.
The palace thought it would take longer, but they went with it.”
Earlier, a source told that Meghan told her friends that stepping back from royal duties is the best thing that could ever happen to Prince Harry as his spirit was being crushed by Royal Family.
Meghan also told her friends that the mansion they are staying in Vancouver Island is “her happy place” and she has never felt more at home.
She said that in the last couple of months, she has felt more at home than she ever did in the U.K.
According to sources, Meghan was not happy in Britain and was having anxiety attacks.
She is now living a happy life after stepping back from royal duties.
A friend of the couple also revealed that Meghan told her inner circle of friends that the decision to leave was a matter of life or death.
Meghan and Prince Harry are currently living in Canada with their son, Archie.
Before leaving the UK, Harry told at a dinner for his Sentebale charity at The Ivy restaurant that the decision of quitting came after ‘so many months of talks after so many years of challenges.’
He said: “And I know I haven’t always gotten it right, but as far as this goes, there really was no other option.”
