Meghan Markle is reportedly angry after being banned from using the word “royal” in her and Harry’s official branding by the Queen.
Her friends have reportedly told Meghan feels ‘she and Harry are being picked on and they feel insulted over royal crisis.’
After the Queen banned Harry and Meghan from using the word “royal” in their “Sussex Royal” branding, the couple issued a statement saying the Queen had no ‘jurisdiction’ over the word ‘Royal’ overseas.
The couple’s friends told that Meghan feels it is a “payback” for her and Harry after they decided to be independent.
Mail Online reported that Meghan’s friends told: “Meghan said that (she and Harry) were left with no choice but to make a public statement.”
“She said if anyone should feel insulted, it should be them. They never intended to capitalise on the word royal, and to insinuate they were somehow abusing their privileges is absurd.”
The friends told Meghan said she and Harry will continue to rise above jealousy and pettiness as they want to focus on the good and on being the best parents to Archie.
The friends also told: “She said she will continue to champion Harry because out of everyone, he has the most integrity and the most loyalty.”
Meghan also feels that the Queen was forced to ban them from using the word ‘royal’ in their official branding because Harry is the Queen’s “favourite and others just can’t deal with it”.
On Wednesday, Harry arrived in Edinburgh from Canada for his and Meghan’s final engagements as royals.
He told the audience to call him “Harry” as he is not a royal anymore.
The couple is currently being criticized for disrespecting the Queen after they issued a statement saying the Queen had no ‘jurisdiction’ over the word ‘Royal’ overseas.
On 31st March, the couple will become financially independent and will no longer be representing the Queen.
