Actress and TV presenter Trisha Goddard has claimed the Royal Family didn’t deem Meghan Markle to be “good enough” for them.
As the television personality insisted in a shocking ITV documentary called ‘Harry and Meghan: The Week That Shook The Royals’, the monarchy is based on slavery and racism.
Goddard’s bombshell accusations follow shortly after Meghan and Harry claimed a senior royal expressed worries that their child’s skin would be too dark when mix-race Meghan was still pregnant with Archie.
Speaking of the allegations, the TV presenter insisted that the issues surrounding the Royal Family are much bigger than what Meghan and Harry allegedly experienced.
“It’s the establishment, we’re talking about systemic and institutionalized racism, not whether one person said something inappropriate, it’s a much bigger subject than that,” Goddard said as she claimed “the whole Royal Family, the Empire, going back centuries, it’s all based on slavery and racism and subjugation of people.”
In the shocking documentary, Goddard went on to call Meghan Markle America’s princess and insist that the royals treated her as if she wasn’t “good enough” for them.
“This is not just racism but snobbishness, the Americans think they had their princess, went overseas and married a prince, it’s that fairy tale thing, and she wasn’t good enough for them,” Goddard added.
“The Queen seems to still be, of all of them, to have come out better than all of them as it’s that grandmother thing and plus the statement came from her.
“Granny was the one who was doing all the mending. The rest of the Royal Family are like, why are they all so silent? Why is his dad so quiet?”
