Meghan Markle has reportedly told her friends she and Prince Harry have ‘made the right choice in parting ways’ with the royal family after her last tour as a senior royal in the UK, according to DailyMail.
Meghan told her friends there’s no warmth between the family members as no one hugs and everyone is so uptight, especially Kate.
A close friend of Meghan told DailyMail.com that Meghan said it is quite evident that Kate and William do not approve of their choices as Kate barely even looked at her.
Meghan’s friend told DailyMail.com: “She said it’s obvious that Kate and William do not approve of their choices and that you could cut the tension with a knife.”
She reportedly has said she wants to raise Archie in a household that is ‘filled with laughter and joy and lots of hugs’ and they did the right thing in parting ways.
Harry and Meghan were visibly awkward during their meeting with William and Kate at Monday’s Commonwealth Service at Westminster Abbey.
Though Harry greeted William with a smile, the couples only exchanged ‘Hellos’.
During her last trip as a senior royal in the UK, Meghan missed Archie and was ‘eager to get back home to him’.
The friend said: “She said it’s not like she was intentionally keeping [Archie] away, but it made no sense to bring him and put him in harm’s way.”
“Regardless, Meghan said the whole thing is alarming and that she’ll be glad to get home and be with Archie.”
Prince Harry has also admitted he and Meghan feel much better after stepping down as senior royals during hoax phone calls recorded by pranksters Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexey Stolyarov who pretended to be Greta Thunberg and her dad.
He said he stepped down as a senior royal to protect his son and sometimes the right decision isn’t always the easy one. But, he feels it was the right decision for his family.
