Olivia Marsden who looks like Meghan Markle earns up to £1,000 (around $1300) a day just because of her resemblance to The Duchess of Sussex.
The 23-year-old lives in London and works as a receptionist. But she decided to earn some extra cash, working as a Meghan Markle impersonator.
When Olivia looked Meghan first time on TV show Suits, she realized she looks a lot like her.
The former air hostess said: “People have been telling me for years that I look like Meghan, which I take as a huge compliment because she’s so stunning.
“Once Meghan and Harry announced their engagement, all the comments about me being her double really stepped up a notch.’’
“Passengers on my flights would say, ‘Has anyone told you that you look like Meghan Markle?’ And that was without me being all done up, with proper hair and makeup.’’
“Both of us are mixed race. I have Caribbean roots, as my dad is Guyanese, so I think that’s made us look more similar.’’
“I’ve loved her since day one. Her character in Suits is amazing – she’s this smart, powerful woman who isn’t overly sexualised.’’
“My friends would watch it with me and tell me I looked like her. I wasn’t sure I did – but, of course, I was pleased to be compared to someone so beautiful.”
Olivia has even bought a copycat version of Meghan’s outfits and created her natural and glam makeup look using YouTube Tutorials. The American accent is not easy to crack and Olivia is working on it.
According to the website for Classique Promotions, Olivia’s work includes photo shoots, filming, PR stunts and corporate events, parties and worldwide appearances.
“She is often mistaken in public for the latest member of the Royal Family and has a wealth of experience in media and corporate settings,” the listing says.
Olivia told: “I had reservations at first. I worried people would think I looked nothing like her, or that I was trying to be someone I’m not.’’
“But then I thought, ‘Why not? I should just go for it.’ She’s very unique, so Meghan lookalikes are hard to come by.”
