A Meghan Markle lookalike has taken the internet by storm after her picture was revealed and compared to a member of the British Royal Family.
Christine Mathis, who works for the American airline JetBlue, is continually being stopped by strangers and is getting asked if she is the Duchess of Sussex.
Mathis says that she becomes the center of attraction wherever she goes out in public due to her resemblance to Meghan Markle.
She has been mistaken for the British royal numerous times that she is now making a career out of it. The mother of one, Christine claims that on an average, at least ten people come to her asking if she’s Meghan Markle.
The 32-year-old air hostess has decided to cash in on her looks. She has joined an agency where she will work as a professional lookalike of the British royal.
Christine said that she started gaining attention for her looks years ago. When she worked in first class, she was always stopped by the passengers and told that she looks like ‘that girl from Suits.’ Suits is an American TV show in which Meghan worked before marrying Prince Harry.
She says that she can see the resemblance between her and Meghan Markle. She says, for starters, she and Meghan are both mixed race. Her mom is African American, and her dad is African American and Italian. They might be related somehow! Who knows?
Christine reveals that when the news of Meghan Markle dating Prince Harry reached every household, she was getting stopped more and more. And once they got married, it became a daily thing for her with people stopping her and asking if she was Meghan Markle.
She says that she had a mole removed and her doctor was sure that she’s the Duchess of Sussex and just using a fake ID and name to keep the attention low. Well, it was hilarious.
In the midst of all this, Christine’s husband, Pablo Smith, whom she married in 2012, is always teased by his friends who say that he is the Duke of Sussex.
Christine says that Pablo does find the resemblance between her and Meghan.
