Samantha Markle, the half-sister of Meghan Markle, has unleashed a furious rant against the Duchess of Sussex in the wake of her tell-all Oprah interview.
The 56-year-old said her estranged sibling suffers from “narcissistic personality disorder” while Prince Harry is the victim of Stockholm syndrome.
Speaking to the Australian radio show, Samantha said: “I definitely see a narcissistic personality disorder. I’m not diagnosing her. She needs to see a counselor.”
Meghan’s half-sister also said that she feels sorry for her husband.
“I feel sorry for Harry. She pulled him away from his family, all of his friends, the life that he knew.
“He reminds me of one of those kidnap victims who eventually starts to believe that their life was so horrible and they’re in love with their captor.”
Samantha also said “the truth was totally ignored and omitted” as she shared documents and photos to disprove each of Meghan’s claims about her.
“I don’t know how she can say I don’t know her and she was an only child. We’ve got photographs over a lifespan of us together. So how can she not know me?” Samantha told Inside Edition.
She also shared photos of them together and documents to disprove Meghan’s claims.
During the interview, Oprah had asked the Duchess of Sussex about Samantha’s book, The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister, Meghan replied: “I think it would be very hard to tell all when you don’t know me.”
The pregnant mother also said that she had grown up “an only child” and claimed she had not seen Samantha in almost two decades.
But Samantha shared photos of them together throughout the years, including one picture of them at her graduation in 2008.
Meghan told Oprah that her half-sister only changed her surname back to Markle after she started dating Prince Harry.
However, Samantha insisted that her half-sister’s claim was wholly inaccurate as she shared a document to refute it.
“I was a Markle before she was,” Samantha expressed. “I thought that was kind of weird that she would say I only changed my name back when she met Harry. Markle has always been my name.”
The document Samantha presented shows her petition to change her name in December 1997 and her college diploma with ‘Samantha M. Markle’ on it.
Speaking about Meghan’s suicidal thoughts, the 56-year-old said that she had little sympathy for her.
“Depression is not an excuse for treating people like dishrags and disposing of them,” she added.
