A waterfront mansion in Canada offers a fresh start for Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, and their son Archie.
Meghan Markle has ‘expressed an interest’ in the $27million waterfront mansion that features six bedrooms and five bathrooms.
The 6,900-square foot property is on a row of extravagant properties called ‘Golden Miles.’ According to The Sun, the mansion’s full-length windows offer panoramic ocean views.
The couple would be able to keep their sought-after privacy as the beach-side mansion.
This comes after the Duke of Sussex attended an emergency ‘Megxit’ summit with Prince Charles and Prince William after the couple’s announcement that they would step back from senior royal duties and divide their time between the UK and North America.
In a personal message, the Queen announced that she had agreed for the couple to go ahead with their plans.
According to The Sun, a source said: “The area is particularly sought after by super-rich and image conscious young achievers.
“Best of all for Harry and Meghan, it’s quiet and locals respect each other and value their privacy. They’d fit in very well.”
For many weeks over the holidays, the couple and their 8-month-old son Archie stayed at Mille Fleurs, a waterfront mansion on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. The place is expected to be their home during the ‘transition period.’
According to royal accounts published last summer, over £2.4million of tax payers’ money was spent for the Sussexes’ Grade II listed house.
One internet user commented: “I think that most people who followed the royals even after Diana’s death couldn’t help but to feel like all they wanted was for the William and Harry to be happy. Something doesn’t feel right about this despite Harry’s smiles. I hope for the best for him.”
Another wrote: “omigod it’s so beautiful…. will be PERFECT for them!”
A third added: “Enjoy your life Good luck in all you do .”
