Recently, a Commonwealth service was conducted at Westminster Abbey on the 11th of March.
The two royal wives were seen in entirely different attires as they joined the royal family.
Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, wore a high end bespoke designed by Victoria Beckham. The fashion experts have stated that the outfit she wore that day must be of €18,000.
In the morning while she was present at the Canada House, Markle wore an outfit that was designed by a Canadian designer called Erdem. Lucas Armitage who is a celebrity stylist by profession has estimated the cost of outfit to be around eight thousand Euros. She was wearing a green embellished coat.
But the total cost of everything that she wore that morning summed to be around nine thousand Euros. The opal earrings from Maison Birks were of €568, and the Milka bracelet was of €363.
The Duchess of Sussex was later seen in a Victoria Beckham outfit, and she chose to wear all the accessories of the same Canadian designer.
Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, on the other hand, decided to go with the old dress that she previously wore back in 2014. The red outfit was Catherine Walker.
The 37-year-old Kate with her red, vibrant coat was able to turn heads once again as she did by wearing the same in 2014 during her New Zealand visit.
Meghan’s green dress was labeled as “Doria beaded rose embroidery” which is also the first name of the Duchess’ mother. Meghan at the moment is eight months pregnant and is expected to deliver a newborn soon enough in the coming April.
The cream midi dress was custom-made and was a part of the label’s AW19 collection. Fifty-three nations are a part of the Commonwealth and the year 2019 has also brought forth the 70th modern Commonwealth anniversary.
