Meghan Markle has shared a new photo of her and Prince Harry’s son Archie feeding chickens at their $19million mansion in Montecito, California.
In the photo shared by the Duchess of Sussex during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, the two-year-old boy can be seen holding a basket in the garden of their home while wearing a grey t-shirt, jeans, and yellow Peppa Pig Hunter footwear.
This is the first time Archie has been seen since Harry and Meghan shared his photo to mark his second birthday in May.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex haven’t yet shared any photos of their daughter Lilibet, who was born in June in Santa Barbara.
The couple previously revealed in their Oprah interview that they had rescued some chickens from a factory farm. The animals are now living in a hut with a sign that reads: ‘Archie’s Chick Inn, Established 2021.’
In the interview with DeGeneres, the former actress opened up about her domestic life with her husband and their two children.
Speaking about her family life, Meghan said that her son “loves being a big brother” to 5-month-old Lilibet, adding that he ‘loves to dance.’
The mother-of-two also said that she ‘loves to cook’ and will be at home with her husband and children for Thanksgiving.
The duchess also talked about the challenges of raising children, saying: “Someone told H (Harry) and I that when you have one kid it’s a hobby, and two children is parenting.”
“Suddenly we realized, ‘oh right’, everyone talks about what it’s like for the second child but no-one talks about the adjustment for the first child when the second one comes along,” she continued.
“I think they have that moment of, ‘oh, this is fun, oh, this is how it is now.’”
Meghan also said that Harry ‘loves’ the lifestyle and weather in California.
Speaking about the paid parental leave, the Duchess of Sussex told DeGeneres that she would do ‘everything’ to make paid family leave law for all Americans.
