Piers Morgan took another jab at his former friend Meghan Markle as he called her a “delusional Duchess” in an interview with Fox News.
Speaking to Tucker Carlson on Fox Nation, the British broadcaster and former GMB presenter blasted the Duchess of Sussex in an explosive tell-all.
As the controversial TV personality insisted, Meghan’s attack on the monarchy and the Royal Family was either a result of complete delusion or deliberate lying.
“What I was witnessing was the most extraordinarily disingenuous smear, hit job, on the Royal family, on the Queen, on the monarchy, and frankly on Britain, my country,” Morgan claimed.
“I went on air on Monday morning with full bells on and said quite clearly that I didn’t believe what Meghan Markle was saying. Here we are a month later and frankly, I’ve had plenty of time to think about this – I still don’t believe any of what they were saying.”
The author and editor went on to claim that 17 claims made by Harry and Meghan have already been disputed whereas some, including the secret wedding claim, have been proven false, while others have been branded as exaggerated.
“I don’t understand why I should have to believe people who are not telling the truth,” Morgan raged on in an interview with Carlson who previously also took a swipe at the actress.
During the fiery rant, the broadcaster also called out Meghan and her alleged connection to the woke mob and cancel culture as he insisted he was forced to believe Meghan or face a backlash and lose his job.
“It was Meghan’s way and Meghan’s truth,” he added.
“I was under attack from Ms Markle to confirm to her version of events and I had to believe her and if I didn’t I was a racist who should be condemned. I should be allowed to say: ‘I don’t believe you.’”
