The Duchess of Sussex squatted in public and declared that she has healing powers in a skit filmed for the Ellen DeGeneres show.
Meghan Markle, 40, proved that she was up for a laugh during her TV recent appearance on Ellen.
The 40-year-old Duchess participated in a comedy sketch that saw her squat and said that she has ‘healing powers’.
In Ellen’s new episode, she opened up about her life with Prince Harry, 37, as well as taking part in some fun-filled skit.
Throughout the 19 seasons of the show, one of the most popular segments was when Ellen has an earpiece placed in a celebrity guest’s ear, telling them what to say and what to do while interacting with people.
Meghan was certainly up for the challenge. Ellen sent her out to pretend to do some shopping on the studio lot.
In a video shared on Twitter, Ellen explained that she also gave Meghan a purse ‘and she had no idea what was in it’.
At the beginning of the video, one of Ellen’s staff walked ahead of Meghan to talk to the stall vendor, telling them that the Duchess just wants to be treated normally when she comes to shop.
The host then tested out the earpiece on Meghan’s ear. Ellen told her to touch her elbow if she could hear her clearly, before asking her to touch her nose and then do a squat.
Meghan, a former actress, somehow managed to pull off each instruction very well.
As she walked to the stalls, Meghan enthusiastically said: “Oh this is a lovely day! A lovely, lovely day,” as told by Ellen.
Meghan then went to touch the crystals displayed on a table, before telling the vendor that she has ‘healing powers’ which made the audience laugh.
During the interview with Ellen, Meghan spoke about how she, Prince Harry, Princess Eugenie, and Jack Brooksbank enjoyed one ‘final fun night out’ secretly before the news of their relationship was announced in public.
“The four of us snuck out in Halloween costumes to just have one fun night out on the town before it was out in the world that we were a couple,” Meghan recalled. “There was a post-apocalypse theme, so we had all of this very bizarre costuming on and we were able to just have one final fun night out.”
