Melania Trump has been ranked third among the most admirable women in the United States – beating Ellen, Oprah, Madonna, Angelina Jolie, and Hillary Clinton.
The first lady trails behind just the former first lady, Michelle Obama, who acquired the first spot, and Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the associate justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, who earned the second position.
The list was issued by data analytics firm YouGov on the basis of public opinion and votes.
According to the poll, Melania made her way through very famous names, for instance, the leading politicians like Nikki Haley and Hillary Clinton, inspirational pioneers like Queen Elizabeth II and Malala Yousafzai, and TV presenters such as Ellen DeGeneres and Oprah Winfrey.

Considering her popularity at home, it is not at all surprising that Melania – who was ranked 19th in the world’s most admired women list – secured one of the top three positions among the females of her own country.
The FLOTUS is not only loved for her beauty and fashion sense but also for the determination and steadfast behavior she has exhibited in the face of countless scandals of her husband, President Trump.
However, regardless of the arduous work and the mathematical tools used by YouGov, several Americans believe that the list is skeptical and is not reflective of the actual sentiments of the masses.
A huge tiff has emanated between the followers of both the Democratic and Republican parties, with people arguing about whose name should have been present on the list and who should have been on the topmost spot.
“My most admired woman is the First Lady, Melania Trump. She dresses exceptionally well, is multilingual, and is beautiful,” wrote one disgruntled Twitter user.
“YouGov released a poll saying Michelle Obama is the ‘most admired’ woman in the world. What a joke. The class and elegance Melania Trump has makes her [a hundred times] more admirable!” another said.
While many are admiring Melania for her good-looks and fashion sense, some are arguing that she hasn’t done any noticeable effort for Americans, and that just fashion and beauty does not make her worthy of the position she has been granted.
Taking to Twitter, a netizen wrote: “Melania Trump [is the] 19th most admired woman in the world?
“She has done nothing. ‘Be best,’ stupid slogan, meant nothing. The only thing she does well is stand up straight with her hands at her side.”
Another social media user posted: “Take that Melania ‘Do nothing while your husband destroys America’ Trump. Michelle Obama helped her husband lift up America, you are doing the opposite.”
