In Melania Trump’s hometown in Slovenia, a life size statue has been placed.
Some people are calling this tribute ‘hideous.’
It was made out of a tree with a chainsaw by Ales Zupevc, a local craftsman. The statue was inspired by Melania’s appearance at her husband and president of the United States, Donal Trump’s Inauguration.
On Friday, Jan. 20, 2017, Melania Trump and President Trump walked out together after attending church service at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Washington. She chose a custom Ralph Lauren design for the Inauguration Day.
This look was designed by Ralph Lauren and is double-faced cashmere mock-turtleneck dress that is being worn under a short jacket with a bold collar.
She accessorized her outfit with a pair of heels, clutch and elbow-length gloves that were all the same hue of blue.
She kept everything simple and wore her hair into a loose updo.
Melania’s double-faced cashmere creation consists of a mock-turtleneck dress, over which she wore a short jacket with three-quarter length sleeves that featured a bold collar that clasped at the neck with a cutaway.
After they said their goodbyes to Obama and Michelle, the Trumps made their way to the President’s Room in the Senate.
“With the historic swearing-in of her husband, Donald J. Trump, as the 45th President of the United States, the First Lady-elect [became] America’s new First Lady wearing an American designer who transformed American fashion,’’ Melania’s spokesperson said in a statement.
The suede gloves Melania wore were also from Ralph Lauren Collection.
President Trump and his Wife Melania and the rest of the Trump family watched the Inauguration Parade from the White House.
Melania joined Pence and others as they raised a glass to their new president. The two clinked their glasses together during the lunch.
