A mother who constantly receives shame for her slim body is now slamming her haters and trolls after years of body-shaming and name-calling.
The mother of two who goes by the name of Caitlin Fladager explained from Vancouver in Canada how skinny-shaming is not cool and it’s just as offensive as fat shaming. Moreover, she says that those who try to put down others in regard to their weight need to be taught a lesson.
The 27-year-old mum of two constantly gets told to indulge in some burgers because they believe men like meat on their bones. In a shocking message sent out to her massive followers on Instagram, Caitlin claims that after she put up a display picture of herself, the comments she received were unbelievable.
From people accusing her of making bigger people feel bad about themselves to absurd questions asking if she even eats, enough is enough for this mother. Some even go about adding how they support positivity but she’s just too skinny.
Some also accused her of suffering from eating disorders and other ailments, without even getting the chance to know her properly. “I would rather be beautiful and healthy than be a double zero size,” said another hater.
But now, this mother of two is raising her voice against skinny shaming which she strongly believes is a huge issue that doesn’t receive enough attention. “People need to be taught to stop giving their opinions on other people’s bodies. It’s just not okay,” she went on to explain.
Caitlyn has young kids which include a son and daughter. She concluded her post by mentioning that not all thin people starve themselves neither are they unhealthy. “For some, it’s just how their bodies are and we’ve learned to accept it. Hence, so should you!”
