Michelle Obama Urges Meghan And Harry To ‘Forgive’ The Royal Family Because ‘There’s Nothing More Important Than Family’


Former first lady Michelle Obama urged Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to ‘forgive’ the Royal family following their bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey.

During an interview with Access Hollywood, Mrs. Obama shared her thoughts on the deep rift between the Buckingham Palace and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Harry, 36, and Meghan 39, made damaging allegations about the members of the royal family during their tell-all interview.

The Sussexes claim also claimed that a member of the royal family had been worried about their son Archie’s skin color.

Meghan said that she felt “silenced” while she was still working as a senior royal. She also claimed that she did not receive proper support that she started having suicidal thoughts.

The Duchess also revealed that it was Kate Middleton who made her cry before her royal wedding in 2018.

While the ongoing rift between the royal family and the Sussexes has grown bitter, Mrs. Obama urged the couple to ‘forgive’ the royals and put their differences aside.

“My hope is that, when I think about what they’re going through, I think about the importance of family and I just pray that there is forgiveness and there is clarity and love and resolve at some point in time,” Obama said.

“Because there’s nothing more important than family.”

It was in 2009 when the Obamas first met Queen Elizabeth during the former President’s year in the White House.

Michelle and Barack Obama were introduced to Prince William and Kate Middleton when they visited the Buckingham Palace in 2011.

Prince Harry has also been friends with the former first couple for years. Meghan also became friends with Mrs. Obama and even attended a 2018 talk the author gave in London.
