Xbox is not just a console or a unit to play video games; it is a feeling that you can have anywhere.
Thus, having it stationary is not fair. Yes, it is not mobile and we have to keep waiting to go back home to be able to play but it looks like that won’t be a problem anymore.
Don’t tell me that you have never wished that your Xbox was movable and easy to carry around so that you can take it to boring family dinner parties, or to camps, or to school.
Well, Microsoft had been hearing you all this while as they have filed their petition for a handheld Xbox.
The patent of this new device that has a console available in pieces that is attachable to an already existing screen like your mobile phone when you are on the go.
All you have to do is clip the pads to your phone and you have your Xbox ready. And the genius thing is, you don’t have to touch your screen while playing.
The pads have the usual keys, ABYX, and the thumb-stick and the D-pad. The console is also equipped with headphone’s jack and stereo speaker.
Designer Sarang Sheth says this move by Microsoft is not just in order to bring out a new gaming console but to create their own cloud space for gamers they can use while they are on the go. And for the same, the console is going to bring them close to the cloud just like Google has its own.
