I have watched multiple science fiction movies and out of all, the one thing I have learned is that artificial intelligence always turns out to be the biggest threat to human life.
But then again, I am no genius and this is a reality, not a movie.
Microsoft has just made a huge investment in OpenAI, the company that works on making Artificial General Intelligence.
OpenAI was founded in 2016 by Elon Mush in order to develop a power to facilitate the life of humans and to improve the capability of a human brain.
This means making something even more powerful than the human brain that can work on its own. I am no smart man but I get that this can be dangerous, but again, what do I know, huh?
The twist is that Elon Musk has withdrawn from the company as he decided that the technology Al Company is developing can prove to be a great threat to the humankind, even more, dangerous than nuclear power.
Well, the thought he had now is something that should have hit his mind before he even established the company, but again, he is a genius and we have no idea why he did what he did.
Microsoft has now invested a mage amount in the company as the CEO of OpenAl Sam Altman says “The Company’s creation will be the most important development in the history of the human race. This will change the meaning of humanity.”
Well, these are the same things that were said when the Internet was found and now we only use it to play games indoors or to laugh while we stupidly keep looking at our screens. This has somehow made the life of a human empty.
He added that their mission is to provide AGI technology benefits to all humankind along with the help of Microsoft that is the technology giant.
