Mannerism is a thing to follow and no it is not overrated, the term that is used here is actually very underused and everyone should make more and more efforts to be more mannered and filled with kindness.
Nicole Marie who lives in Milford, Michigan shares her story as she has been working waitress at the Red Dog Saloon for 10 years now but never in her life someone has been so kind to her like these little boys.
On a Friday, a group of middle school boys entered the lounge and seated there waiting for their order.
As Nicole approached them, they first asked if they had enough money to which Nicole said yes and the boys thanked her just for answering the simple question.
She shared the incident on Facebook.
She wrote that after she confirmed that they had enough money, she asked the kids if she could take their order and the kids behaved extremely nicely.
She said that one of the kids was on a call while she was taking their order and the other boy instantly asked them to put down the phone because it was disrespectful to me.
The gesture touched my heart and made me believe that kindness and politeness are not gone, people have changed and do not value what should be valued anymore.
She says that one of the kids even told her that they will tip her good money too.
Nicole was left stunned as at the end of eating, the kids left their table with their used cutlery neatly lined on the table so that she does not have to work extra on cleaning the tables too.
What a nice bunch of kids is.
