They have found their mother’s information written on their arms in case of an emergency.

The siblings were abandoned at the border near a city called Jacumba, a city that’s around 70 miles from San Diego. The children were first spotted where the wall ends and at a nearby mountain.

When found, they were crying before being rescued by the border agents. They are now being processed in the federal system.

The children had given the employees a handwritten note with the same information that was written on their bodies, the information pertaining to their mother’s. It included her name and phone number. After being processed, they were transferred to the Department of Health and Human Services.

Aaron Heitke, Chief Patrol Agent, comments on the situation, saying that “it is unconscionable that anyone these small children and those responsible for smuggling events like this will be aggressively prosecuted,”

This is not the first case of migrant children being abandoned. Lately, there has been a case of two migrant daughters being dropped over the wall before getting rescued and another young boy crying, begging for help as the Border Control Cop films him.

Border Patrol Cops are trying their best to give these children a decent amount of attention and care so that they can live, pushing past the horrors that were placed upon them as a young child.

The border crisis has been carried over as Vice President Kamala Harris’ duty yet she has not stepped onto the border despite invitations reaching out for her assistance. Due to this, she faces criticism since she is the one holding the responsibility on the border crisis.

There has been an increase on the numbers of passing migrants at the border, soaring over 70% from the data of the last 15 years. Harris has also not visited any countries that are in relation with her new relationship with Alejandro Giammattei, Guatemalan president.

Most of the migrants that cross are usually in groups, but it is tragic that some have to experience moments such as these.
