Gary Sinise, a famous actor, who has donated his jeep to raise funds for veterans, has melted the heart of many.
Sinise recently auctioned off his jeep for $200,000 at Barret-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Arizona. Being a famous Lieutenant from “Forrest Gump”, he is a blessing to veterans and military personnel.
Sinise is also famous for the role he played in “Vietnam war-time film”. He has been there to help all the people who are serving or have served the United States.
The reasons for his popularity are many, and he has always been there to serve veterans.

He also fronts the Lt. Dan Band, which performs at USO shows.
Recently Sinise auctioned off his jeep for $200,000. This was a customized jeep, 1981 CJ7 Jeep that he donated.
The jeep he donated was not an ordinary or old jeep. It was customized by famous “Richard Rawling’s Gas Monkey Garage.”
One of the popular TV show “Fast N’ Loud”, features Richard Rawling’s Gas Monkey Garage, which dedicates their 45 minutes show to find, modify and update classic American vehicle into something appreciable and unique.
Richard Rawling’s Gas Monkey Garage did the same with auctioned Jeep and designed it with patriotic stars and stripes.
Sinise was fully prepared at auction to donate to military and first responders, but he was amazed to see what happened next.
His jeep was sold for $200,000 to its first buyer. The buyer again auctioned it and raised more $100,000 from its next buyer.
Moreover, Sunbelt Rentals donated $1 million more to this noble cause, and Sinise was able to raise $1.3 million in funds for veterans.
Sinise said at the event that he was thankful for all the veterans present in the audience. He also attended a private dinner in Los Angeles with the new owner of his Jeep.
He further showed his love to veterans saying “When our veterans came back home from the Vietnam War, they were not treated well”.
Sinise love for veterans is an example for us to respect our military who have stood up for America.
