Tanya Buck and her three kids, 16 years old Dylan, 10 years old Faith and 3 months old baby Esme had lived a very difficult life. They have lived almost a homeless life for the past 6 years and this breaks down Tanya every time she thinks of the same.
Now, living in 3 BHK house that has no carpet or proper wallpapers on the walls, they are still very happy because the house is there home now.
Tanya was only making 142.80 pounds a week which makes it a very big struggle to even feed her children at times.
At such a low income, it was impossible for her to get her house furnished and even a little polished. But she was taken back by a surprise when a millionaire asked her to swap her house with them.
She moved to a 5 the mansion for a week and when she came back, her house looked nothing like she left.
Her house had fitted carpets and the wallpapers were new, not even slightly torn. She broke down into tears when she saw her house as it instantly reminded her of times when they had no place at all to live.
The woman and their children had been living in a makeshift home for almost 4 years and this was there the first Christmas in a house. It was there own house and they could not have been happier about it.
Dylan, the eldest son said that the struggle they had to go through made him and his mother very close. this is not it but it also helped her sister and her mother to develop an amazing bond too.
He says that there was a time when they even had to live on the streets and they had to move in for a B&B too for 6 weeks and it was terrible.
The struggles they and their mother had was so much but they finally are in their own house now.
He added that they all felt safe. The house is small and tiny but it has hard walls and that is all for the family. They were surprised to see that the millionaires Noel and his wife Lisa spent 3,300 pounds on her house.
She said that she is so surprised to see that people even have so much money.
She said that the money they have spent on the house is the amount of money she makes in 6 months. She said that this is the best Christmas present she and her family has received in years.
Although she doesn’t make much, she still makes it a point o buy presents for her on Christmas and this year she won’t have too.
