A family from Florida has received the most miraculous news recently after their pet cat was found alive at the site of the tragic collapsed condo incident that rocked the state.

Referring to the incident as an absolute miracle. the family added how it was truly something they never imagined in a million years. “Two weeks had passed and we began to lose all hope. But this is truly a miracle.”

The cat who is reportedly named Binx turned up to the site of the collapsed condo site, wandering around helplessly in Surfside. But little did she know that she would be reunited with her family.

The family has been grieving for days, alongside other affected families who reportedly lost everything after the massive destruction struck two weeks ago.

Identified as the Gonzalez family, they claim that it was an event of mixed fortune because they couldn’t even think about such a miracle taking place after so many days. “For us, our pets are like family,” they went on to explain.

The family recalls their horrors as the collapse has torn them apart in more ways than one. First, the mother and her young daughter fell from the building’s 9th floor. Thankfully, they survived despite sustaining massive injuries. They were being treated at the city’s Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Next, the father is still missing ever since the tragedy struck on the 24th of June, as reported by Local 10 News.

The cat was stumbled upon by rescue workers who claim their hopes of miracle began to dwindle with each passing day. But seeing the sight of little Binx truly brought back smiles on so many people’s faces as they continue to look for more possible glimmers of hope as the rescue operation continues.

The incident has taken away at least 78 people’s lives with more fears of the death toll increasing too.
