Missing Mother Found 12 Days After She Disappeared At The National Park


The missing mother who disappeared at a Utah national park has been found 12 days into the search.

38-year-old Holly Suzanne Courtier went missing on October 6 after taking a shuttle bus to the Zion National Park as a part of her solo trip during which she reportedly didn’t have her phone with her.

According to the National Parks Service, the mother was missing for twelve days before she was found by the park rangers after another visitor reported seeing the woman.

While the officials haven’t provided details about where the mother had been staying for nearly two weeks, they insisted that she is “alive and well.”

“We are overjoyed that she was found safely today. We would like to thank the rangers and search teams who relentlessly looked for her day and night and never gave up hope,” the 38-year-old’s family wrote in an update after days of the search for the mother.

Courtier has been found days after her sister, Jaime Strong, started a GoFundMe page and raised more than $10,000 for the search, lodging expenses for the family, and the mother’s potential medical expenses.

“HOLLY HAS BEEN FOUND ALIVE AND WELL!” Strong wrote in a GoFundMe update after her sister was found.

“Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone’s continued support and prayers! Details on her rescue are limited right now and we will update you when we have all the information.”

As the sister added, she urges people to “continue sharing this page as Holly will need medical care in the days moving forward. She has no medical insurance to cover the costs and your donations will help.”

Following the extensive search that involved drones, K-9 units, and various rescue teams, the National Park Service applauded all the people who came together for the rescue.
