A transgender model has shared heartwarming photos of her husband’s baby bump.
Danna Sultana from Colombia was born male but identifies as female. She’s expecting a baby with her husband Esteban Landrau, who was born a female but identifies as a male.
Sultana took to Instagram and posted a photo with the hashtag ‘Love is Love.’
According to local media, the happy couple conceived their first child naturally as both Esteban and Danna still have their natural reproductive systems.
At 8 months, Esteban thought he was going into premature labor as he was having contractions. They immediately drove to a local hospital and contacted their relatives about the arrival of their baby boy but doctors told them his symptoms were normal and they went back home.
In an adorable video shared to Sultana’s Instagram account, she is seen caressing and kissing her husband’s belly as he smiles.
They also shared heartwarming photos of them posing in the garden before announcing that their baby boy will be named Ariel.
“We almost have our beloved,” Sultana wrote when she posted a photo posing next to Esteban’s bump.
It was in February when the couple shared the news of pregnancy with a photo of them smiling at the camera. “Dreams do come true,” they wrote.
The couple received a lot of support from family, friends and followers on Instagram during their pregnancy journey.
One internet user commented: “They are very beautiful and are giving a lot of courage to thousands of trans couples.”
Another wrote: “f they can find each other and be happy then I know there’s someone out there for me lol. Just hope the baby is healthy congenital-wise since both parents are on artificial hormones.”
A third added: “Good luck to them.Im glad they found each other in this world that can far too often be hateful and over judgemental. Love is love.”
