Three models have been banned from Major League Baseball after showing their boobs during the World Series.
The series tied at 2-2 and the Washington Nationals and Houston Astros were battling it out at the bottom of the 7th inning at the National Park in Washington, D.C.
However, as pitcher Gerrit Cole of Houston Astros was about to throw, cameras suddenly caught two women behind showing their boobs.
The showing of breasts didn’t go unnoticed by audiences across the globe. Magazine editor and model Julia Rose even admitted on social media that one of the surprising baseball boobs were hers.
She wrote in one tweet: “My lil nips made it” and in another post, she wrote: “Whoops. The wind blew my top up.”
But Major League Baseball vice president David Thomas doesn’t think the stunt was funny in any way.
Rose then received a letter and she shared it on Twitter. It reads: “On October 27, 2019, you attended World Series Game 5 at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C.
“During the game, you violated the fan code of conduct by exposing yourself during the 7th inning, in order to promote a business. You were also part of a scheme in which you induced others to expose themselves to promote the business.
“You are hereby banned from all Major League Baseball stadiums and facilities, indefinitely.”
Mr. Thomas was referring to Ms. Rose’s digital magazine, Shagmag. The name of the business was emblazoned across the lifted t-shirts of Rose and her co-conspirators, Lauren Summer and Kayla Lauren.
Ms. Summer also received an almost identical letter from the MBL vice president, and she shared it on Twitter.
But Ms. Lauren simply shared a selfie she took in Police HQ.
Twitter users have questioned whether the letters were real. The fact that the models are no longer strangers to such stunts also added to skepticisms.
But Darren Rovell, a sports business reporter for the Action Network, believes such skeptics are giving the models too much credit. He posted on Twitter: “You are giving her way too much credit. And to think she knew David Thomas is the guy who writes these letters? Pro sports leagues do this swiftly all the time and on the spot.”
