A mother from Georgia just couldn’t control her emotions recently when she gave birth to the first baby boy in her family, over a span of more than 50 years.
In addition, what really made the entire event all the more joyful is how the mum chose to keep her baby’s gender a secret until the very end. For this reason, she made sure there was a professional photographer present during her delivery but little did she know, she was just about to break history.
In case you still don’t understand the greatness of the situation, well, let us help you out. This baby is the first to be born in more than half of a century in her household. Therefore, you can only imagine how sweet and emotional the event could be.
Dara Crouch stole the show with her starting news which went viral over the internet in no time. The 29-year old says that she only found out what the sex of the baby was after it was caught on camera and according to her, it was truly worth the wait.
Talking about her priceless and very emotional reaction in a recent interview with ABC News, she explained how she didn’t want to know the gender because she just plainly assumed that it was going to be a girl. But little did she know, a historic surprise was in store for her- a precious little boy.
Ace photographer Neely Ker-Fox was the lucky guest to capture Dara’s heart-melting moments in the delivery room. While Dara had full confidence that Neely would do great with the photographs, she certainly was not expecting him to take a picture that would soon turn into the most epic snap of all time- a true history-making baby!
“I certainly never expected to have a baby boy,” she added. “The last boy that we can remember to enter into our family was more than 50 years ago.” And for this reason, this makes it all the more special, she explained.
