Women don’t always open up about it, but most moms-to-be do have a preference over their baby’s gender.
Yolancia Palmer, from Nashville, has always dreamt of having her own little girl she can play with someday, but after giving birth to eight wonderful boys, she was starting to think that her dream might never happen.
Yolancia, now a mother of eight, considers that having a daughter was not for her.
Earlier this month, Yolancia, together with her partner Michael Rosario welcomed another little boy to the family through a home birth, weighing 6 lbs 11 oz.
In the TikTok video posted on their account @that_rosario_life that went viral and earned over six million views, the couple showed off the new addition to the family.
“Yes we are missing one but mamas outnumbered !!!” the caption reads.
In the clip, while Michael was holding their newborn son, he joked: “When your wife thought she’d have a girl one day!” Then come lining up one by one their adorable sons.
Yolancia and Michael are proud parents to Jamel, 12, Michael Jr., 9, Angelo, 7, Gimani, 5, Armani Chulo, 3, Sincre, 1, and newborn Khaza, who is 3 weeks old.
In 2015, they tragically lost their “angel child” Armani Prince who was stillborn.
Yolancia delivered all eight of them through natural birth.
In a separate video, Yolancia said her mom has always wanted her to have a girl too so she could fully understand what she put her through as a teenager.
“My mom in the 90s telling me she can’t wait for me to have a daughter one day for payback…” she jokingly said.
Carrying her newborn, her six boys can be seen walking with her.
“Wait there’s more boys,” she wrote. “Sorry mom, you have 8 awesome grandsons!”
Yolancia captioned the clip with: “Who else mom used to tell them this karma missed me🤣”
The viewers were amazed by the chances of having eight boys back-to-back while you imagine having a daughter.
“EIGHT,” one commenter said. “I was already surprised at four! Then they kept coming!!”
“The ninth pregnancy will be the one!” another one added.
“LAAAAAWD bless your grocery bill,” a third person commented.
“Tell me you’re raising a football team without telling me you’re raising a football team,” a fourth person joked.
There were also some clips on their account sharing Yolancia and Michael spending time with their seven sons.
