A really skillful mom has revealed how she prepares lunch for every member of her family a week in advance and keeps the food healthy and fresh.
The nifty mom, Suzanne, who lives in Queensland shared a photo of 25 lunch boxes that are to cover the whole week of herself, her husband and her three children.
The lunch boxes contained delicious foods like chopped fruits, sandwiches, biscuits, popcorn, bagels and crisps.
Explaining the photo and the whole thing behind the lunch boxes, Suzanne said that she uses “Go Green” lunchboxes that help keep the food fresh because of their airtight lids.
Suzanne said: “I pack two to three days at a time and it stays fresh. Even cut apple doesn’t brown.”
To keep the lunchboxes from mixing and to avoid mistakes in picking the right lunch, every box has the name of the person written on the lid for whom the box is meant.
Suzanne, who is a mother of three children, said “nothing goes soggy” because the menu has no bread on Thursday or Friday and as an added measure of safety, the responsible mom checks things on Thursday to make sure everything is in a good shape.
Suzanne also told that that the children have an option to order from the cafeteria on Friday which helps keep the Friday menu within the least possible limit.
To keep all the lunchboxes properly stored, Suzanne has a separate fridge at home where she stores all 25 boxes of them.
The photo of 25 lunchboxes was shared by Suzanne on a Facebook group named Lunchbox Mums where it got a ton of appraisal from a lot of other parents.
One person commented: “This organization makes my soul happy.”
Another said: “Wow Suzanne I am seriously impressed and my son would be very jealous at all the variety. Your a supermom, I wish my lunches looks this good.”
