The proposal videos always make us cry, doesn’t it? Recently, Meehan, who is battling against her incurable cervical cancer, is proposed by her boyfriend in the sweetest way possible.

The 30-year-old mom has four kids and is a stepmom to one. Everything was going amazing in her life when suddenly she started experiencing pain due to the radiotherapy she had undergone.
It was told to her that the treatment had damaged her bowels, which is non-fixable. Though even after the pain she was experiencing, she was glad to be cancer free. Soon after this, her bladder and legs started paining beyond her tolerance.
In April 2019, the cancer survivor thought of visiting her doctor because she wasn’t able to walk properly due to the pain. She knew that something is not right, and because of her cancer history, she was not given any further scans.
When she went to the emergency room twice at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow twice, she was given a heartbreaking news. Her cancer was back again.
Peter Potts, her 39-year-old boyfriend, said that it was unfortunate. Even after getting the diagnosis, her family was positive because she got over cancer once in the past, but then the doctors said that this time, it is unlikely that she could be cured.
Meehan and Peter have been together since last 12 years, and Peter has been a doting father to the kids and also took care of Meehan.
The couple has decided to make every day count in their life, and that’s when Peter decided to surprise Meehan by proposing her. Peter got down on one knee, and their little 1-year-old Zara went ahead to say ‘Mummy will you marry daddy?
It was the sweetest, and Meehan got so emotional after the proposal that she started crying. We hope that Meehan gets better and stays stronger throughout.
