A mom turned an old tool cupboard into a beauty station for her three daughters using a very low expense by picking up bargains from eBay.
Living in a house, sharing a bathroom with four women can be tough sometimes, particularly when you’re all trying to get ready in the morning.
So she decided to give the daughters their own space to do their hair and make-up.
She shared incredible before-and-after pictures to Facebook group DIY On A Budget.
The mom along with her husband prepared the beauty station with the help of DIY. They stripped the walls, laid a new floor, gave it new paint and added new furniture and accessories.
The renovated room now has a grey stool, a mirror, storage for all their hair styling tools and baskets to stash their make-up.
The mom also added two floating shelves and revealed she bought the hairdryer holder for just £3($5) on eBay.
She posted online: “My cupboard on the stairs transformed from my husband’s work tools storage to a beauty room for my 3 daughters.
And when asked about what happened to her husband’s tools, she said they’d been deported to the garden shed.
More than 1,000 people have liked her post, calling the makeover “brilliant”.
One person said: “Looks great well done.”
Another wrote: “Wow what a transformation… Lucky girls.”
A third said: “Love this idea ….mostly just see man caves for playing Nintendo!”
Someone else commented: “I can imagine the fighting that will happen with 3 sharing such a beautiful space!!!!!”
While this person thought: “That’s so lovely, what a beautiful use of the space.”
