The video of the fishermen rescuing the animal is shot in 4 parts, each video witnessing every attempt.
One of the fishermen, Renato Borella, claims that he is a sport fisherman and that whenever he went to the region of Mato Grosso for vacation, he used to fish with the fishing operator from Pimenta Fishing.
Assuming a normal fishing day, Borella and his guide, Neco climbed up to their fishing spot. This was when they spotted a monkey, who seemed to be tired.
Since the river was very wide and the currents were strong, the two of them decided to help the animal cross the river.
Their first attempt included the utilization of the rowing of the boat. However, the guide pulled the rowing as soon as the monkey began to climb it. This was because he was afraid of the unexpected reaction of the monkey.
The final attempt, which turned out to be successful, involved the use of a lifejacket. As soon as they threw it at the animal, it made a loud noise, seemingly for gratitude.
The monkey was able to climb the vest rope soon after that. As it climbed the boat, Borella claims, they were frightened.
Surprisingly, the monkey was extremely calm when he came on the boat. This made the fishermen happy and calm, too. They were then aware that the animal would not harm them at all.
As soon as the boat began to approach the shore, the monkey jumped at the bow. Soon after that, it climbed a tree and departed.
The natives of the place believe that the monkey might have been excluded from his troop, which led him to cross the river.
